Jignet-DolmaMy family makes me glad.We are poor :I have six family members and they have all stay close to each other. When I was seven years old, I became a nun and I joined the LNA.After that I studied in Chamtse Model School while I stayed with senior nuns in the hostel at Choglamsar. My dearest teacher, Ven.Dr.Palmo, send me to the Himalayan Buddhist Cultural School in Manali to study. Manali is a green land, though during the winter the weather is cold.I was sad to be seperated from my friends, so when I was there I spent my holidays with old nun friends or with my family. In my school, there are approx. 250 students, who are mostly from the Himalayan region, and we study nine subjects. Our school has good facilities and there are approx. 15 staff. They give us good advice and enclopedic knowledge. Ultimately, I would like to say that I am proud of my school and like it very much.

I wanted to study to achieve my goal to become a Doctor.I want to help with the education and Monastic training for the nuns and the public within the Himalayan region. I wanted to repay the kindness of the LNA after my studies. Many of my friends are also very fortunate to be with the LNA.The LNA help many poor childern like me and my friends so that they in turn can help others in the future. I am praying for the success of  all the activities of LNA and the longitinvity of the LNA board members.
