My name is Stanzin Dawa. I was born in 2002 in a beautiful village called Zanskar. I have three sisters and both of my parents are farmers. I became a nun at the age of 7 years and joined LNA in 2008. I became a nun because it is real that life is serious and it should be used for good purposes. I spent my life in my village until the age of 6 years where I attended the government school and also have to do household work. My eldest sister is spending her life as a nun from the age of 6 years and she looks so special and brings peace to us. From that time my mind stressed to become a nun. At last my father allowed me to become a nun. Yes, now I and my eldest sister are living the nun's life. I really feel proud of my sister, myself and my parents as well. Today LNA is giving monastic education as well as modern education. I am in Siddharta High School in 3rd class and I am studying English, Hinsi, Tibetan, Maths, Science, Social Studies as well as computer.
